Interactive Story Map
Client: Greenbelt Land Trust
Location: Oregon
The story map we developed in collaboration with Greenbelt Land Trust won first place in the Conservation, Environment, and Sustainability category of Esri’s storytelling with maps contest in 2015. The map journal takes you along a trail at Bald Hill Farm, a unique community resource in Corvallis, Oregon where working lands are managed alongside wildlife and plant habitats, and recreational and educational opportunities abound. Interactive trail maps, videos, photos, and text combine to tell the story of how this flagship property came into Greenbelt’s care and the role it plays in creating a conservation footprint connecting several adjacent natural areas into a mosaic of protected lands and miles of trail systems. We are honored to be recognized for this collaboration!
