With the opening of FLO’s new office near Boston, Massachusetts, East Coast local governments, utilities, school districts, businesses, and nonprofits seeking bold and innovative solutions that will improve their communities now have greater access to the GIS and data analytics services that can help them achieve their goals.
Leading FLO’s new East Coast office is senior analyst John McKenzie. John is no stranger to wrangling, analyzing, and visualizing complex information for the client sectors FLO’s new office will serve. He has over a decade of experience helping federal agencies, state and local governments, and nonprofit organizations unlock the value of their data. John is no stranger to FLO, either. After graduate school, John joined an environmental consulting firm in Boston, where he worked on the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Natural Resource Damage Assessment for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration—a project that put him in touch with FLO, which had been tasked with data management support on the project. After relocating to Olympia, Washington, in 2013, John worked for the Association of Washington Cities, where he cofounded the AWC GIS Consortium, bringing on the FLO team to provide the GIS and data analytics services offered to Consortium members.
Now based in the Boston area, John will lend his expertise to our East Coast clients and beyond. Learn more about John McKenzie and his work.
