FLO Team Heading to Rally 2016

We are excited to once again be attending the National Land Conservation Rally – held in Minneapolis, MN October 28-30th. This year, we’ve been working on some great projects with land trusts throughout the pacific northwest.

Conservation Planning and Interactive Mapping: We helped Blue Mountains Conservancy develop a strategic conservation plan by using community outreach to identify conservation goals and mapping those goals to see where they overlap and create areas of high value.

Agricultural Resource Land Protection: Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, we evaluated and made recommendations to Pierce County in regard to their current and future designation process for agricultural resource lands.

Conserved Lands Database and Interactive Map: Our team designed a database for the Coalition of Oregon Land Trusts that allows them to track and summarize member and project specific information over time.

Conservation Planning: To achieve their goal of broader conservation efforts, we assisted Wallowa Land Trust in mapping out a clearly defined mission and a comprehensive plan addressing priority values.

We’re looking forward to talking more about these and other upcoming projects – including our upgraded Unmanned Aerial Systems! If you’ll be joining us at Rally, please stop by booth 21 to say hello.
