OSBA Annual Conference Presentation Announcement: Boundary Update Best Practices

Author: Tyler Vick Published: October 31, 2018

Attendance area boundary updates are just like a “giant sudoku puzzle” as one Bend-La Pine Schools boundary update committee member recently put it. I couldn’t agree more. Boundary updates are also complex, lengthy, and can be quite contentious—yet there are few well-known best practices. My presentation at the OSBA Annual Conference (along with Jerry Oelerich and Alex Brasch) on Friday, Nov. 9 will explore the optimal ways to update boundaries, focusing on examples from school districts who have recently gone through a boundary update. You will leave the session with a clear understanding of common challenges and how to avoid them.

Will I see you there? Let me know by adding the session to your online conference schedule: https://osbaannualconvention.pathable.com/meetings/739575

If you can’t make it, check out our attendance area boundary update services page to learn more.
