We are excited to welcome a new senior GIS analyst to our growing team! Ruth McColly comes to us with 12 years of professional GIS experience, both as a consultant and as an in-house GIS expert.

Ruth’s extensive capabilities include geospatial analysis and modeling, data management and visualization, spatial database and geodatabase design and management, and cartography. She also has experience developing Web applications, managing ArcGIS Enterprise, managing asset data, and integrating utility datasets—experience she’ll deploy to assist clients in the local government and utility sectors.

Our Seattle office will be Ruth’s home base, where she will be working primarily with clients in Washington State. When asked about why she’s excited to join the FLO Team, Ruth said, “one of my favorite quotes is ‘follow your passion, it will lead you to your purpose.’ As soon as I joined FLO I knew I had found my purpose—using GIS to help communities in the Pacific Northwest. I am excited to put my expertise to good use by making a difference in my home state. Working for 12 years in GIS and in a variety of fields and companies has given me a well-rounded perspective and a deep toolset, not only in GIS but also in my ability to work with all types of people.”
