Emma joined FLO in February 2022 as a GIS Technician based remotely out of Houston, Texas. Emma brings a unique perspective to FLO’s projects as she has five years of GIS experience in both higher education and public K–12 organizations. She is skilled in improving both client experience and business strategies through the lens of geospatial analysis. Emma fell in love with geography at a young age and continues to foster her learning of the world and those that inhabit it with books, travel, and of course, her work. Originally hailing from Virginia, Emma enjoys getting outside with her husband and beagle at any possible chance. She also enjoys eating her way through the diverse culinary city that is Houston.
“I am passionate about helping clients answer key organizational questions using spatial analysis. My favorite part of my job is hearing feedback from clients who say they would not have been able to accomplish what they did without GIS.”
