FLO staff of all levels and disciplines are involved in our DEI initiatives. Our DEI advisory committee develops and implements our DEI actions with collaboration and support from our board of directors and management team. We are currently working on DEI in four key areas:
Increase the diversity of our applicant pool and ensure our hiring process fosters DEI.
Hire a consultant to ensure DEI is at the forefront of every aspect of our firm and develop additional practices to solicit input and feedback where unknown barriers exist.
Increase our partnerships with minority- and women-owned firms, develop partnerships with local business programs supporting diversity, and foster opportunities for staff learning.
Encourage staff to support organizations that promote DEI and invest in organizations that focus on communications, data, science, technology, and math education for marginalized students.
